Day 1 - The Pilot

My name is Jack Shephard and this is what I've lived in a plane crash.

I was in a quiet flight, although I wasn't relaxed at all. So, I asked for a drink. A strange situation with a passanger happened on the aisle and made me to stay on my site. I was chatting with a women sitting in front of me, when a loud noise could be heard. I tried to be calm and to calm that woman, but in that moment everything was noises, outbursts and freefall. I tried to take the masks which jumped over us but I can't remember anything more. I fainted.

Me desmayé.

When I opened my eyes, there were bambues for everywhere. I didn't understand what had happened. I felt a severe pain on my back and I was in shock. I began to run and got to the beach. Suddenly I reacted and I realized I had to help. People trapped under the wreckage. The same plane where a moment ago I had been flying to my destiny, LA. I also saw a woman being resuscitated in a wrong way. I had to intervene and she was better soon. A pregnant girl was having contractions.
With the help of the other survivors who were good, we helped the wounded.
The aircraft turbine was still working, sucking everything which it found on its way. The sound was frightening. People ran here and there and because of their shock they didn't realize about the danger. A man didn't hear the advice of an old man and was trapped by the turbine, causing an amazing explosion which filled the beach with rests of the plane.

Everything was chaos. In a piece of plane I could see the mangled bodies of people, who had been close to me on the flight Oceanic 815. I'm a doctor, but this didn't decrease the horror.

When the peace and quiet began to reign I felt again the pain in my back. My wound was big so I had to cure it soon. I looked for a sewing kit and I went to a lonely place. I revised the gravity of the wound but I couldn't cure it by myself because I couldn't reach it. At that moment a girl appeared. She was walking to anywhere, shocked and lost. I asked her to help me. She was not sure but she accepted.
The pain of being sewn without anesthesia was awful. I tried to take off the pain  by thinking in something else. I remembered something that had happened years ago when I had been terrified.  I told her about my experience. It was when I was operating to my first patient. I'm a spinal surgeon. I was operating a young girl, and in my hands were her possibilities of walking or being paralytic for the rest of her life.
My mistake almost caused the worst result and my horror was such that I could not continue. Then I decided I'd let this panic enter into my body, only for five seconds. Then I began to count...one...two...three...four...five...
The fear went out and all ended well.

Night came, everything was quiet now. Little by little the survivors began to chat and know each other. They made fires, distributed food that there was in the plane. That was the job of a huge man called Hugo Reyes, "Hurley" Llegaba la noche, todo estaba en calma ahora.

I took care of wounded, especially of a man with a piece of steel that was inlaid into his stomach. The girl who had sewn my back was very interested in that guy. She say he had been sitting next to her on the plane.
At least, we could chat for a moment. We introduce each other. Her name was Kate. I talked about my conclusions about the crash. I knew something about it because I had taken flight classes a time ago but it wasn't my vocation.

We planned to go to look for the transmisor of the plane the following day to try to send an S.O.S.
Suddenly a loud noise surprised us. It came from the jungle. On the dark night and with all those sounds, people were in panic again. We couldn't know what exactly it was. We looked at  the dark jungle and we hoped to be safe.

I tried to sleep. Maybe the following day we could solve the mistery. Maybe the rescuers would come for us
